hi everyone i have just lost my dad,the pain is unbearable ive never felt pain like it..my dad passing away was very sudden so it was a big shock,people say it gets easier n i know its early days yet but ive never had 2 grieve b4 n i am finding it so hard 2 cope.u expect ur parents 2 b there 4ever dont u? does anyone have any advice 2 help me thru this? truly brokenhearted x x *

Sweetie.. 1st My Condolences. Theres Not Alot Anyone Can Say To Make You Feel Better. Only Time Can Help. When U Lose A Parent Its Like Losing Ur Best Friend. I Lost Mine 20 Yrs Ago. The Pain Is There But I Can Talk About Him And Smile. Only Time And Prayers Help. Will Be Praying 4 U.. *

Thank u 4 that..whats making it harder 2 accept is that my dad was *it by a bus b4 xmas,its a long story he fought so hard n started 2 get better even tho he had some brain damage.we believed he was coming home,but then received a call saying he was poorly we rushed there but he was already gone,the shock was terrible n i didnt get 2 say goodbye.im just taking it day by day now,i know it'l take time.thanks again x *

Wow.. That Is A Shock. Darlin Thats All U Can Do Is Take It Day By Day. Im Sure Your Dad Knew How Much U Loved Him. Unfortunatly We Cant Pick A Date Or Time When God Will Take Us. Think Of It This Way Hes In A Place Alot Better Than We Are.. *

i know ur right he IS in a better place n he's not suffering anymore,i just feel guilty 4 not being there at the end but it was totally unexpected..im sorry im being selfish! i know u have problems of ur own,hows things going 4 u now? *

I Dont Think Your Being Selfish At All. When My Mom Died She Lived In Another State. By The Time I Got To Her She Was In A Coma. I Felt Like U Did But Now I Figure Maybe God Knew I Coulnt Handle It If I Watched Her Suffer. And It May Be The Same Reason 4 U. Only God Knows Why. As 4 Me Having Problems, We All Do. Im Always Willing To Help Anyway I Can. *

just having someone 2 chat 2 helps n u've been through what im going through so u understand how i feel..my kids keep me on my toes n i have 2 grandkids so my house is quite lively! my partner works a lot so when he's not here i love having them around it keeps me busy n thats what i need.thanks 4 replying.. *
